Health & Safety Coordinator – Saul Marmot (Under 8 Coach and GP)
Club Policy -
1. Coaches – Training/matches start with a “warm up” and end with a “warm down” (3 minutes)
2. Players must always bring plenty of water to training and matches.
3. Players must wear shinpads and correct footwear in training and matches
4. Players must inform coaches of any health or fitness issues such as recovery from injury.
5. Players must stay with their coach if no parent is available to supervise them.
6. Parents should get professional medical advice if a player has an injury that is persistent (e.g. Under 12s (paediatric) consult their GP (phone/visit). Over 11s can self-refer to a physiotherapist. See the adjacent “Physiotherapy” section for more details.
