Clissold Rangers hosted four of the best junior clubs from around London in a showcase pre-season tournament in Clissold Park:
- Angel Islington FC (Camden & Islington League)
- Glebe FC (Tandridge League, Bromley, Kent)
- Hampstead FC (Camden & Islington League)
- Interwood FC (Waltham Forest League & Echo League)
Glebe FC did the double winning both the Winner’s Trophy and the Coaches’ Choice Cup for best football on the day. Although every club won votes from the coaches for the quality of their football. Every age group played fantastic football – U9s, U10s and U12s.
We would like to repeat this auspicious event each September and Glebe have already offered to host it next season in Kent. And Interwood have invited us to participate in a tournament sponsored by Arsenal FC in Cyprus next summer.
